I am tremendously concerned about the legitimacy of the upcoming elections and what kind of a role voter suppression will play in the outcomes. I am eager to get more involved in Get Out the Vote initiatives over the next two months.

Jim Swayzee is a singer/songwriter based in Asheville, NC. He was the lead singer of a local garage rock band called the Fuzzards between 2017 and 2019 but more recently has been focused on solo projects. He finished second place in the Brownbag Songwriting Competition finals this past year and just this summer released his third full-length solo album entitled "Paddle to the Moon". It features several Asheville musicians sitting in on accompaniment.
WNC Musicians for Change are musicians from Western North Carolina who are dedicated to using music to raise funds and awareness for worthwhile causes.
